There are many different varieties of the Cannabis plant. Hemp, which is also know as industrial hemp- refers to the non-intoxicating or non-psycho active varieties of cannabis sativa L. For cultivators Hemp requires less water and no pesticides making it more environmentally friendly and organic if grown the right way.
The 2018 Farm Bill has opened up an area that has been virtually untouched for more than a century. Now that hemp cultivation is virtually legal in all 50 states there is a growing interest.
At Pristine 360 we have been through the full cultivation cycle. Each step has its own complications and we have been able to battle through each stage to create a smooth process to help farmers and investors.
Currently, 100% of our biomass is grown on fertile land in Vermont. Vermont has a rich history in farming and it is no surprise the quality of hemp that has been grown since the inception of the 2018 Farm Bill.
In collaboration with Dutka Mini Farm, Pristine 360 has and is able to retain some of the best Biomass on the global market. Combined with the highest standards of extraction, the end result is truly Pristine.
2. EXTRACT
Our CO2 extraction process has the highest industry standards. The use of CO2 means that typical solvents that might not only be dangerous to work with but also could affect the chemical composition of the oils you are extracting are no longer a concern.
CO2 extraction is also much better for the environment. CO2 gas is natural, so if it escapes into the air during extraction it won't do any harm. It can also be recycled, making this method much more sustainable.
Depending on our customers’ preferences, Pristine 360 has the ability to extract using supercritical or subcritical processes. Supercritical uses higher pressure and temperature, which maximizes yields and reduces run times.
Subcritical utilizes lower pressure and temperature which is able to preserve volatile terpenes and produce a lower yield product but higher potency. The reason is less plant waxes and fats are extracted during the run and only the targeted cannabinoids are retained.
